"This property has been under renovation for the past few years, with about another year of construction still to go. They are transforming an old winery into what will eventually be a 5- or 6-star resort, complete with a spa and other amenities. We stayed for two nights with our 11- and 13-year-olds and booked a family suite. "I cannot say enough good things about Pieve Aldina. This property was beautiful and well maintained. Definitely worth the drive into Tuscany for a peaceful retreat. The staff were excellent and always at your service. Our room was rustic and cozy but the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. I truly enjoyed my stay and wish I had booked a few extra days!"
