Unbelievably, incredibly wonderful place! Wish I could have stayed for longer. "

"We stayed there at a cold (0 degrees C) winter day. The room was quite cold, the heating was off during most of the day and night and we barely slept. When we pointed this out to the receptionist/owner, he responded in a very rude way and insulted us. The breakfast was quite bad as well with stale bread and croissants."

"Room was exactly as described. The view was breathe-taking. Too narrow a window for check-in (2-4)pm, especially when arriving by train and trying to find the ever elusive taxis in Siena. There are 3 flights of stairs to handle and no elevator, but this is typical for older hotels in Italy. WiFi would have been nice."

"La Terrassa is great! The location and view over Il Campo in Siena is simply spectacular. The welcome from host Viola is brilliant (so many hotels could learn from her skills and warmth).
