"It was a very good hotel with this price, rewe is in vicinity and you can buy everything you need. The only thing I did not like was some unreal explanations about room, based on room description it was supposed to have a partial view to bodensee, but was not met, and bathroom facilities was not complete."

"Nice hotel overlooking the lake. Good price and wonderful location. Very nice breakfast. The only downside is there’s no air conditioner so it’s a bit hot in warm weather but when the balcony is open, then it’s okay at night. Would stay here again."

"Easy to find, next to the railway and bus stations. A quiet and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities. Breakfast plentiful with good coffee, choices of cheese and cold meats, delicious breads, hot food, fruit salads and smoked fish. My room was very comfortable with a powerful shower. Tea and coffee making facilities and easy to control air con. Fully opening window if needed, but double glazing very efficient and I didn’t hear any noise. Also seemed well insulated - didn’t hear any noise from the corridor or the rooms next door. Public lounge area welcoming with a good choice of drinks. Also hotel has a policy of rewarding guests with a free drink voucher for not having their rooms cleaned every day which I enjoyed each evening. I had to leave too early for breakfast on my day of departure, so staff explained the kitchen would prepare me a takeaway breakfast - it was very generous and tasted great. Within an easy 10 minute walk of the centre of Ravensburg. I shall return next year and highly recommend. "

"We happened to get to the hotel at around 10am and the staff was very helpful in setting up us with a room near the elevator as well as keeping our luggage so we could explore the city. When we got to the room, we were surprised at how large it was and had windows on two sides since we were put into a corner room. We only stayed one night but the hotel is right on the waterfront and nearby to everything needed."

"Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly. "

"Reception on floor 1, but check-in was in the restaurant/bar on floor 0. Took a bit to figure this out. Air conditioning was struggling to cool the room--probably due to dirty filters (there wasn't much airflow)--but the neighborhood was quite quiet and the night air was cool which allowed us to cool the room quickly just by opening the windows. Great place to stay right in the heart of this charming town!"
