"The location of this hotel is quite a bit outside of the village, but the walk into town along the lake is so pleasant, it actually was a plus. The town was surprisingly charming and so much more interesting than we were led to believe. (We almost prefer it over Lindau for its charm.)The cobblestoned streets, the lake promenade with several waterside restaurants and cafes, the wineries, the upper town and lower town were fantastic. "There was nothing to dislike here. Everything was perfect. We decided we needed to walk so we went about a block where my husband’s favorite, sheinsoxen, was on the menu. This hotel is on the wine route in the Alsace region. A beautiful part of France that I would highly recommend giving it a day to visit the beautiful villages. The countryside is lovely too."
