The location is excellent: right in the center of old town Vilnius. There are ample restaurants, bars, cafes, just steps away. The hotel is clean, looks recently updated, and has historical charm. The breakfast , which is served at a fancier sister hotel down the street, is really excellent and copious. I stayed 4 days and never ran out of new things to try. The coffee served at breakfast wasn't great, but it is possible to order an espresso drink (at a charge). I think this hotel was a great value and would recommend it for most people. The only issues I had were 1)slow and sometimes intermittently connected Wifi on the 3rd floor and 2)the absence of a desk or chair in the room, which was only equipped with a bed, two small round tables, and a cabinet to hang clothes and to stash a suitcase. The lack of a desk was inconvenient given that I was there for business. I did have the smallest room category and noticed that some rooms did have desks/chairs. There is also no common space, aside from a couch in the entryway downstairs. As I mentioned above, there are various bars and cafes nearby, including one on each side of the hotel and a very cozy cafe with ample comfortable seating just two doors down. My other critique would be that while the main daytime staff was very friendly and helpful, some of the others were not very friendly or talkative and perhaps even a bit gruff.
