"AC WAS GREAT, room was clean..but shower never got warm in 5 minutes of running it. The free breakfast was not fully stocked. staff brought out 4 plates at a time. refused to make fresh coffee even though they had only been serving for a an hour. dining hall wasnt very clean. "

"Spent 4 nights, 5 days with my husband and two tween/teen sons. We loved the pools, the rooms, the beds/pillows, the staff was amazing, the drinks, and the kids loved the pool side food (wings, chicken strips, pizza, burgers). As far as the rest of the menu, breakfast was decent, but dinner was lacking in my opinion. The reservation only dinner option (Andreas) doesn't know how to season meat, fish, etc properly. The flavor was sorely lacking. On Asian night, they put orange sauce on EVERYTHING (ahi tuna, grilled white fish, Coconut shrimp, and Short Ribs, and mixed just soy sauce into their noodles). Even though the steaks at the other restaurant were cooked perfectly, there was no steak seasoning. Only salt and pepper... our family prefers a bit more culinary art. We would most likely come back as the majority of the experience was excellent, but for this price point, I would expect a higher caliber of skill in the kitchens."

"The Casa Ritual was quiet. Tasteful. Figuratively and literally! The food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful yet not overbearing. I enjoyed the pool courtyard area n particular; beautiful, verdent greenery. Lovely birdsong. The water was perfect. And there was never more than 1-4 people in the pool, which was nice if you like it quiet, which we do. I also really liked the cute little bathroom with a small window that opened to the pool courtyard. The neighbourhood also felt like an oasis. Suggestions include adding a chest of drawers to the room along with some additional hooks. We were left needing to leave some things in our suitcase for the week because it didn't all fit into the single wardrobe which only had four hangers in it upon our arrival. That said, staff was very responsive when we requested some additional hangers. Also suggest adding another comfortable chair to the room so that people can sit somewhere other than the desk chair or bed. Also suggest turning the AC on in the room prior to guest's arrival; we arrived late at night and it was pretty stifling after presumably heating up all day. The only other suggestion would be maybe to reconsider playing music in the courtyard 9:00-9:00. I understand that you are trying to set a relaxed tone, but - for me - it became a bit relentless. But that is a minor suggestion! All and all I would heartily recommend this to any traveller who likes things quiet, simple, slower, restful and kind. "

"The breakfast in the morning was nice to have. Would have loved a little more variety with the hot menu items. The staff were generally great but one or two were a little aggressive when we didn’t understand what the expectations were. Like not being served coffee after having been seated for a while so we thought we could serve ourselves just like with the food. Also, not very clear what could be ordered (we saw a lot of tables getting bacon and bottled waters only to find out that those were extra)."
