Lochsa Lodge Resort

"A great place to stay for me and my wife for an anniversary celebration during our move out west, and it was well worth the detour. The dinner we had was amazing...such well prepared food and great service. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, and seems to be a great place to stay either summer or winter. We came during a heat wave, and the AC did a great job keeping the cabin cool. We drive an EV and there is an EV charger on-site which is nice. Note that it is slower than most Level 2 chargers (it did not get a full charge even charging overnight for 12 hours) and there is a $20 fee to use the charger. Overall a great place to stay and we hope to be back again."

"What a beautiful cottage! The home has everything needed, plus more, to have a very comfortable stay. The property is adjacent to a creek that's sound provides a lovely backdrop while sitting on the back deck. We loved being able to have our dogs with us and the small, fenced in front yard was perfect for letting them enjoy some outdoor time. Bob is a wonderful host who made sure that we had all we needed. The added touches such as coffee, bottled water, and jigsaw puzzles were much appreciated. We accidentally left an important bag behind when we left, but Bob was very understanding and had it packed and shipped to us the following day. We hope to be able to make it back again someday. Thank you again, Bob!"

"I simply cannot say enough good things about the City Center Motel. This was one of several stays in a road trip through BC, MT and ID and without a question our top pick! First out, the owner (who happened to be on site when we checked in) is lovely. She went above and beyond to accompany special requests, made wonderful locale-relevant suggestions, etc. and is someone who clearly cares deeply about her community. Our room (King Studio) was completely spotless--immaculate really. Welcoming. Tastefully and thoughtfully executed--Beautifully made out beds with extra yummy linens and deliciously thick towels. There are so many little touches that subtly move this a notch above simply a great night's stay. Small things like the mirror inset into the big walk-in shower (which was a delicious with strong rainshower) for my partner's morning shave, a refrigerator/freezer that accommodated everything we'd packed). And a sweet takeaway tote that is always useful for roadtripping! Their name says it --great central location that is an instant walkabout to this wonderful and fully charming town. We will make a point to route through Hamilton again and again!"

"Had a lovely weekend getaway - the hosts were the perfect combo of friendly and available if you needed anything and feeling secluded and private in the cabin. Sleeping Child Farm is a peaceful place and we loved having coffee on the deck and listening to the sound of the river."
