The location is ideal for what you want to do in Venice. The rooms are a good size; however we found a couple of bugs in one of the beds. Not sure what they were.

Staff was great and friendly. Veneto was very close. Room had mosquitoes. Bed was very uncomfortable. Shower small. Construction going on every morning (guys yelling and constant drilling all day). Sink plugged up because the drain stopper failed. Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast items weren’t cold (yogurt, OJ).

Hotel had boat dock at side entrance. Take water taxi from train station and tell them hotel name and they bring you right there.

The Hotel was lovely and well positioned. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff were excellent. The bar is Permanently closed which is a real shame in the evenings. The superior room was ok but the bathroom was very dated. The shower in our room was very ridiculous small, old and didn’t work well. The sink taps were badly worn through and no sink plugs so small things dropped in sink would be lost down the drain! So although great position etc I do feel there was nothing superior about the bathroom or the windows.
