Comfortable hotel

The only Scandic Hotel in Västerås. Polite staff, easy check-in and very service minded staff in the restaurant when we wanted to dine on the hotel instead downtown due to heavy rain... good food. Comfortable beds in a family room. Basic toilet/shower. Good places to hang clothes. Downside, maybe not the biggest play room for the kids but you had video games, soccer table and the play room with toys and crayons.

Valde fel helg

Med risk för att låta som en sur pensionär kan jag meddela att just denna helg fanns många barnfamiljer på hotellet. Fram på småtimmarna rusade barn i korridoren utanför och det kändes väl inte riktigt ok. Uppsatta regler för gemensamma ytor följdes också dåligt. Otur också att gäster med en skällande hund bodde i närheten av vårt rum. Den tålde tydligen inte att vara själv en stund. Nåja, detta blir en påminnelse att jag vid bokning kollar om det pågår några aktuella barn- och ungdomsturneringar i närheten.
