We stayed here overnight while going to a wedding nearby. It was a good price compared to the alternatives we looked at and suited us fine. Maria wa very friendly and responsive and accommodated our particular check in needs. We were able to use the onsite parking which was nice. The room is small but comfortable with the bathroom right across the hall. No TV, but that's not a problem.

Friendly, close to transport, but some noise

The host is extremely friendly, the room and facilities such as the bathroom are fine. It is easy to get to the city centre, as the metro station is 10 minutes walking away. Cafes, shops and restaurants are also within 10-15 minutes. But the hotel is located right next to a very busy road, which means there is a lot of street noise. Overall, the place offers good quality for money for Vancouver (which is super-expensive), but don't expect the Ritz-Carlton.

The room was clean and comfortable enough given the reasonable price. The backyard is very beautiful. The owner/manager is kind and welcoming. Here is only one thing to be desired: I hanged a bath towel I used at the first night in the room to dry. It did not get dry even after 3 days. I do not know if this is due to low temperature and/or humidity in the room. Other than that, I am basically satisfied.

Good points: Great location, especially for the metro and links into the main city. Good comfy bed. Bad points: Dry wall = zero sound proofing, awful. Had to wear ear buds daily. Bathrooms - clean but very outdated. Even fixed the broken toilet and adjusted shower during stay. Rooms - very basic Would not stay again.

Value for money property

Good value for money, but communication was poor. There was a couple who came into the property in the middle of the night, unable to communicate with the owner. Totally messed my sleep. There is a black gate through which I needed to park. When I was about to leave, some guy came to me and told me I opened the door "too much". I had no idea what that means, nor was I warned about it. The description says `breakfast served daily' and `coffee and tea in common areas', but I did not even see a coffee machine and there was no coffee or tea. I was given a sachet of prepacked coffee which I could not drink as it had milk in it.
