"The property is serene and private. The instant we turned onto the gravel drive, we felt at peace and grateful for our stay. The pool is as gorgeous as the pictures. The jacuzzi was easy to heat to very hot and all the jets worked well. The house sits amidst a series of long streets that end on a canal, making exercise and wildlife viewing easy. It is close to the Publix and only a block from Vanderbilt Beach roadway. Coffee supplies for the first day were there and the kitchen was lovely. The grill worked great.The biggest problem was that one bedroom pictured as a day bed with a pretty view of the large front yard now has bunk beds like the other room. This had been a selling point for our party. It was a cramped experience. The master bed is small and very squeaky just sitting on in or turning over. It was really out of place in such a nice property. The one cutting board was wooden and coming apart and all the chefs knives were dull."

"This place is absolutely excellent, except for one thing. It’s listed as wheelchair accessible, to get in you have to go up courteous with no hand rails to help you, then traverse a long ramp which is the best part, then you must traverse some lava stone before getting to the front door. The other way is to walk up a hill on either side of the ramp, also not possible in a wheelchair. My wife had to use a walker and that was difficult. The place however, is beautiful, well outfitted and clean, just don’t say that it’s something it’s not. "

"i extended my stay another month because Florida is beautiful and hot and this house is ideal for my situation. ruth has been an outstanding host, so much as i repainted the garage floor because it needed attention. so when you book this home, tell me how it came out in the comments. also, at night got to watch out for the frogs they always want to enter the garage, they are harmless they just needed to be booted out. if you're not from Florida then you need to get used to the bugs and all the creatures in their habitat. which i only encountered two frogs so far. this will be the house i always rent until my home is finished being built. i extended 2 more weeks so look for my last review in two weeks. "

"Overall our stay was very good. The house was as described in the description and in the pictures on Vrbo. The house was very clean and the amenities provided made it an enjoyable stay.There was a brief period of confusion on the day of check-in related to the security system but it was resolved efficiently that day. Towards the end of our stay, there was a regular scheduled spray of the exterior of the house for pest control. This spraying resulted in an abundance of dead ants in the screened in porch and we left a note for the cleaning group upon check-out.Even with these couple items, we did have a pleasurable stay."

"Beautiful home! We were in town for a weekend to attend a wedding. Home is very functional with a split bedroom layout. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. There were board games available as well as sound machines in each of the bedrooms - perfect for kiddos! Lot is very private, fully fenced in with electric gate. Will definitely re-book next time we’re in Naples! "

"The space was absolutely perfect. Very nice guest house in a secluded location, but close to necessities such as grocery stores and restaurants. Communication with our host(Jon) was excellent and very helpful.I would highly recommend staying at this property."

"We stayed in a very beautiful home. The home was very roomy and tastefully decorated with gray tones throughout all rooms. However, it was not cleaned thoroughly and there were ants throughout the rooms. The ants were extremely bad in the bathroom of the master suite. A call was placed to Barbara (our contact person) about the uncleaned house and the ants. She promised to send someone out the next day to take care of the conditions.However, they never showed up. Therefore, it left us to do it.She promised numerous times during our stay to send someone, but that never occurred.Actually, she sent a text on the day we were scheduled to depart stating that someone would come and take care of the cleaning, etc.It was a very friendly neighborhood and we met several neighbors. We talked to the owner by phone letting her know how much we enjoyed being in her home, enabling us to have a nice two weeks to relax, day trips to see the area, visit museums and a day visit to Sanibel Island."
