The hotel was beautiful and very well located… BUT… when we checked in, we were told that they didn’t have an extra bed for our 13 year old!?!?? We made the reservation weeks in advance for 3 guests, including a kid age 13!
Supposedly they sent us an email to ask if we needed that extra bed because they only have a few of them. ( I never received this email, I triple checked)
And supposedly they didn’t know our kid was 13, even though this is something hotels.com always asks when there is a child in the booking.
The lady at the front desk had the audacity to patronize us because you know, sometimes the kids sleep with the parents, you never know…
When I asked to cancel our night with them so we could find a hotel with a room to accommodate 3 guests, since they didn’t respect the contract, they refused, because the cancellation date was 7 days prior to check-in!!!! We were basically stuck. They are not cheap, we couldn’t pay them AND another place.
They did strictly nothing to help us out, we had to share a bed with our teenage son in an overheated room because the ac couldn’t keep up with the heat that day.
Oh, and so you know, they do have parking on site, BUT don’t forget to reserve your spot because they have about 3 spots…
We travel travel a lot, to a lot of different places and countries, and this is the first time that a reservation for 3 guests doesn’t mean 3 guests unless you respond to an email ( that I never received).
