"2 families stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. We couldn’t have stayed any closer, The Old Barn literally on the doorstep. The property have a very homely feel which made relaxing easy. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. "I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."

"Nice hotels, spacious room with comfortable bed. Food is decent with good choice. I ordered via the website though and my order got missed for some reason. Waited half an hour before I chased it up and it was delivered. When it was delivered they brought my starter and main course both at the same time!"

"Can't fault my stay here, stayed for business for two nights - the room was comfortable, modern and clean. one of the spotlights was flashing, so I asked reception and they sorted it straightaway. Will always choose this hotel when I am visiting the area. Breakfast included as well which is rare!"

"Room was a bit draughty, would’ve been nice if the curtains closed fully, room was a bit dusty as well, and breakfast was very busy and had to wait awhile for items to come out. The good things were the room was nice and modern and beds were comfy, reception staff greeted us well, and even the staff on duty during breakfast were happy and helpful even though it was very busy. The location was very good. I would return."
