"It is so cute. I loved the very few hours we had there. And we even saw some Northern Lights on our very last night in Iceland. The property is really well maintained. The room was nice, clean, and roomy. I wish there had been a refrigerator or a microwave. Check in was a breeze. I was glad I stumbled upon it."

"The Icelandic guesthouse experience was top notch here. This place is newer and clean. 6 rooms sharing two separate individual showers and bathroom with central kitchen. Room is abt 10 min from KEF airport but much cheaper to stay at than Keflavik or Reykjavik. Room had clean bed and sheets, double blinds for the two large windows to keep the blazing constant summer Icelandic sun out during sleep hours, small sink in the room with two closets and small lamp. Only down sides were the slamming self closing doors from other rooms, no towels, and under the bed needed a cleaning. However the excellent price, newness of the building, and proximity to airport can’t be beat."

"Convenient and close to KEF Airport. Quaint, simple, and there are a few nice places to eat nearby. The airport shuttle is iffy so arrange for a taxi if you have off-hour flights."

"Friendly staff. Let us store luggage before our rooms were ready. Easy parking. Shower in bathroom had no curtain or door - water got all over the bathroom floor. Room had high windows with short curtains - light was streaming in early morning (around 4am), making it hard to sleep."

"Great location- it is close to a small downtown with a lot of restaurant and grocery options. It was also very close to the car rental and airport. The view to the ocean is great. The hotel looks old and tired at first but we've grown to like it. It has everything you need and the condition is clean. Even though the staff was not there (it is self-check in system); however, the room service person was considerate and added sheet and pillow for our extra bed."

"The staff was very nice and courteous.It's an older building , but it's very clean and the lobby is very cozy looking. The breakfast was superb with many choices with fresh fruits and cooked foods like real scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. It's very convenient and close to the airport with no plane noise."
