"Great hotel and spa, really well presented building and the rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very attentive and polite. OK it's a little pricey but well worth the experience overall. The only negative for me was from the Lava restaurant where I had probably the worst steak ever especially given it's hefty price tag."

"The property is situated in a town that has been abandoned due to the presence of an active volcano. As a result, the area is now a ghost town with no available amenities, and it feels unsafe to stay there given that all former residents have relocated. Additionally, the property's layout is unconventional, as it involves sharing an apartment with another family. While I have stayed in various hostels before, this particular arrangement felt uncomfortable and did not meet my expectations."

"We stayed at this property at the beginning & the end of our 19 day trip to Iceland. It is perfectly located for the airport (about 10 mins drive). It's an easy 45 min drive to Reykjavik. The cabin was great - it was clean, warm & had a well equipped kitchen & also a BBQ. We cooked all our meals there during our stay. It is in a very quiet area. The hot tub is a real bonus after a long day of sightseeing."
