The Hotel Aurora is a really convenient pre-flight spot when you are departing KEF. It’s not fancy, but is very practical, clean, and efficient. The staff were very helpful on check-in, and the bar and restaurant are great for the layover.

This hotel is located within 10 minutes level walk of the airport. Check in was friendly and efficient. The property looked well maintained and clean. Considering the price we paid, the room was rather basic and minimally furnished. Larger bath towels would have been expected and appreciated. The beds were very comfortable.

Excellent location. Can walk across the street to airport. Very nice restaurant where we ate dinner the night before our flight out. I would definitely book here again if catching an early flight out of KEF.

It was so nice to be able to walk to the hotel from the airport! For a fee, we were also able to get early checking, which we desperately needed after being up for 24 hrs. Staff was helpful and responsive before and during stay. Certainly more pricey than we are used to, but it was the night of the eclipse.

Overall we had a nice stay. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, right across from the airport. The hotel itself is a bit dated but they keep it clean and the breakfast in the morning is delicious.
