It was not operating and the booking was done and Expedia only agreed to pay back the booking fee of the hotel . I was standing in the cold wind at 12 OC midnight . The hotel was dark , no person working . I had to book an expensive taxi go to the town in the midnight and book an new hotel ( and all online booking system did not allow the booking any hotel after midnight on the same day) Total taxi and new hotel costs me 450 euro dollor on top of my 120 euro dollar of initial booking due to the terrible mistake. Expedia only agreed to pay the initial booking of the closed hotel , but not anything on taxi , new hotel , and the loss of next day trip.

Asked to ‘rate my stay’ which is impossible because they cancelled my booking hours before check in, when I was already en route to the hotel, citing a problem with a license. If the hotel doesn’t have a valid license or it’s expiring, please don’t sell rooms until it’s fixed - it’s impossibly disappointing for your customers and future reputation, not to mention incredibly inconvenient to be let down at noon on check-in day. It wasn’t possible to find anything as close to the airport for the same price so I was forced to find a more expensive stay further away from the airport at the last moment. Avoid this hotel until they’ve confirmed that they’ve sorted this issue out.

Nice retreat to overcome jetlag

Nice place to stay when traveling from the US to Europe. Close to the airport you can see planes taking of and landing. Randomly based on the wind you might hear them as well. Huge breakfast bufett with all you need to start the day. Staff is friendly and helpful in case of any question. They'll be willing to organize taxi & tours of any kind.

This is a converted air base. The rooms are large and clean. It feels like it was built in the 1980's. The beds and TV were oddly placed. It is convenient to get to the airport but it still takes 15 minutes. There are no walkable restaurants in this area. I would stay here again.

What we didnt like was, without transport you couldnt get a meal. But we did have the snacks and pot nooldes behind the bar. Place was great, bed was well comfy rooms are spacious and clean no complaints, hot showers and staff extremely helpful and friendly, whats not to love.

Prepaid for a night's stay that included free breakfast and was told my reservation did not include it. Haven't disputed it yet because I couldn't find the reservation at 12:30AM when I checked in.

The hotel was in an isolated area within a former military base. The closest restaurant was a 30-minute walk. The room had no microwave, no refrigerator, no coffee so I had to pay extra for breakfast everyday. And every day for 12 days I had same limited menu for breakfast. I ended up renting a car as it was cheaper than the taxi to the town. The bed was the most uncomfortable and painful thing in the room as my queen bed was in fact two hard twin mattresses held together by a queen sheet. That made the bed unsupported in the middle and therefore, I ended with poor sleep and back pain. I could have complain and request another room, but I did not want to start my vacation being upset and I just focused on my trip. A mistake that I regretted. This hotel is not equipped for specific individuals with physical limitations as had no elevator and the bathtub was about 2.5 feet high from the bathroom floor; not so good if you have hip mobility limitations. I learned from my mistakes and next time I will make a better hotel choice.
