"Our first vist to tybee was great. Perfect location. Backyard gave a place to hangout . Outdoor showers were the best. Since our group was 40 and up we had problems with the low toilets and climbing up to bunk beds. All said a good time was had and yes I would stay there again"

"My son and I stayed at Desoto Beach Hotel for 3 nights. The room was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfy and we love the fact that we were a hop, skip and a jump from the beach. We enjoyed the beach every day that we were there even though it rained a bit. When the weather cleared and the sun came back out, we were out at the beach again. We will come back to Desoto Beach Hotel again as we come to Tybee as a quick getaway from Atlanta, Ga."

"Everything was good EXCEPT it was VERY LOUD all night and starting at 7am! I was on the first floor of the 'annex' in the back and my best advice is BRING EARPLUGS. It was SPOTLESS inside the room and out, and the staff are VERY NICE. The rooms have everything you need and the location is good - one block from the beach plus many restaurants and touristy shops two blocks away or less - and there is free coffee in the lobby and coffee makers in the room, and the price was better than the others...
