Townsend is a great area to stay in to avoid the touristy areas and have some peace and quiet. We took day trips and had a wonderful time exploring the Smokies!"

"I have felt so at ease here. Not afraid to be by myself. I have driven all over and it has been so beautifully and peaceful. I did get to Gatlinburg for a day and i prefer the quiet. The hot tub was very nice. Only used it once. Wish there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Everything else was perfect and i hope to be back maybe next year"
