    This unit includes a queen bed and generous queen sofa pullout, a kitchen with a 4-top stovetop and oven, a sink, a medium-sized refrigerator, a microwave, a mini dishwasher, and the necessary items to cook a simple meal. A round wooden table with four chairs, a 40” TV with DIrecTV, an updated and modern bathroom vanity area, and a balcony with a grassy view overlooking Donner Pass Rd complete this unit. It is conveniently located a few steps away from the entry stairs.
    Our units are equipped with various amenities to cater to your needs, including free internet access, a sofa sleeper, a flat-screen television with Direct TV service, a mini refrigerator and microwave, a coffee station, a fan, a hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
    Donner Lake Village is near plenty of spots for hiking and skiing. After getting back from hiking or skiing, guests of the Donner Lake Village can wind down in the on-site sauna. Laundry facilities and free parking are also provided at the hotel. Donner Peak is just 2.5 mi away from the Donner Lake Village. Historic Downtown Truckee is only an 8-minute drive from Donner Lake Village. Lake Tahoe is 19 mi away.

While the location is pretty unbeatable being right on the lake, the actual property was lacking some amenities I would expect from a 300/night listing. When we got there late at night, the property was unbearably hot. It has no A/C so we had to sleep with the door open all night, which did actually cool the room down but we had to deal with road noise (not terrible) and light pollution from signage right outside the window. I would caution staying here during a hot weekend and we pretty much kept the sliding door open all the time to cool the room.
