The owner Armando super helpful and great communication. Pros: location, pet friendly, updated appliances and bathrooms. Wood stove and plenty of wood , games, whole house fan (no AC) , other useful items such as BBQ, couple lawn chairs etc. I read this in the ad: "Not a luxury second-home as much as 1973 ski chalet with updated kitchen and appliances." So what we expected was a place on the rustic side, not a fully modern townhouse or condo. But to be fair, I think even with that description , there were some things that need to be disclosed in the description: paint dripped/ dried on dining room floor, stained carpets (really stained) , and yes I expect some, since it's pet friendly, but this was a lot. What really concerned me was boards on both front entrance and porch that are creaking and lifting, enough that you wondered if you would end up breaking through. Other areas were unfinished carpentry etc. throughout the house. Not dangerous per say, but just noticeably unfinished. No curtains in the upstairs bedroom which left open a full view to 2 other neighbors. And Armando was great though, since he came and took care of those right away and installed one curtain. This might be a square footage formula thing, but I really cannot see the place accommodating 10 people comfortably either. The price is lower than some other properties which we greatly appreciated. And again, Armando was super friendly and helpful. But I think the items I mentioned should be honestly spelled out in the ad or taken care of.
