"You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing."

"What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well....

"This cabin was a clean,spacious, family friendly located in a quite subdivision. My elderly parent found the single level layout easy navigate. Plenty of outdoor activities close to explore and the lake was prestine. Lots of shopping close. We very much enjoyed the lighting bugs display right after sundown. "Once we figured out the panel on the front door was the keypad that needed a firm touch when pressing the code, everything else was smooth sailing. Perfectly stocked with everything one would need for a getaway—all you need to bring is food and drinks. The large old Bible was a precious find, and I enjoyed leafing through that. "Very clean not even cobwebs on the high ceilings! Cozy but spacious. The stairs to the loft bedroom are so neat. Decorated very well. The large new deck has great views of Mtns/lake. We got to hear rain on the metal roof and see lightning bugs in the trees. Host was a fantastic communicator. There is a great list of things to do in the area on the fridge. 3 adults stayed comfortably with our own rooms and there is 2 living rooms. Definitely 5 stars worthy!!"

"Julius was an amazing host from the moment we booked his glorious mountain home . The pictures on line do not do it justice ….. gorgeous home and could not be cleanser . The home location was an easy trip to West Jefferson for fun festivities . I especially loved sitting on the front porch …. Listening to the New River . The fire pit was also a favorite spot for our group . I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a beautiful peaceful, relaxing home nestled in a great neighborhood ."

"What an adorable cottage! Sure, the floors were not level….but the beds were great. The bathrooms had been updated. There was a terrific sunroom….and the property was gorgeous. We had two dog with us and they loved the space to run and catch a frisbee. The house was equipped with so many amenities. I would definitely visit again. We spent one day hiking at Grayson Highlands State Park in VA and another day we did an urban walk through West Jefferson, NC"
