Had a wonderful stay. Was pleasantly surprised to find the property was very private with no houses or other people around. The pictures of the property don't quite do this spot justice. Loved that you could also hear the nearby creek as well. I'll be back for sure.
One of our favorite places to visit and hike is Grayson Highlands and this will always be where we stay when we visit. We love camping, but having a hot shower at the end of a long day of hiking is hard to beat. The kitchenette and covered picnic table means rain doesn't ruin the evening either. We love this place. We will be back.
It is VERY remote. Close to where I was hiking, but a bit scary for a single, older female. The price was more than I had anticipated, but that's my fault for not noticing all the additional charges

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Everything was very clean. The kitchen was minimal but all we needed. Host contact was minimal but unnecessary for the most part. The main question I had was answered in a timely manner. I do like more personal contact, however. Location and facilities were great and very convenient with my travel plans. I would stay again.
Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia.
