Great stay!

The house is very comfortable and clean. Location is great. It is on the end of a private drive, and faces south, so great views of the harbor and way south, and the wind from the north is mostly blocked (sliver of a view over rooftops to the west). Usually I don't care much about the inside of a VRBO as long as it's clean, but this unit is very cool 60's mid-century modern, with beautiful woodwork and tile in the bathrooms, all original!

A beautiful experience all around

The views were spectacular, the beds so comfortable, the location perfectly quiet except for the sounds of sea and birds. We walked everywhere, including to several restaurants and the beach. Amazingly relaxing!

View to die for

This was the nicest verbo we have stayed in. The easy access to beaches and the Redwoods was awesome. We are already planning our next trip back to stay in the Boathouse. If you are thinking about booking the boathouse do it now.

Wonderful and fun stay

Perfect for our group…several who have never visited Trinidad before. Jessica is amazing and always helpful. House was stocked very well with daily towels, dishes, spices, and everything one would need. Amazing views and easy access to the beaches, wharf and stores, shops. A lot of bang for the bang at the Boathouse.

3 Days in Trinidad

We really enjoyed our stay at the Boat House. The house is very well comfortable with ample parking. The view, almost 180 degrees, is outstanding and a great way to watch the weather, waves and the harbor. The kitchen was very well equipped. Very quiet neighborhood. We took advantage of the local trails on a daily basis and made the short trip to Arcata to visit the bookstores. Just a great place to relax, read a good book, tackle a puzzle and enjoy the views.

Best view in Trinidad!

Best view in Trinidad! The Boathouse is our favorite place to stay. Close to beach and walking distance to grocery store. We enjoyed the new linens - lots of high quality towels and upgraded kitchen utensils since our last visit. Washer and dryer a plus. Better than 5 stars for cleanliness - immaculate!

Most beautiful outdoor oceanfront deck with a nice home attached.

Former California resident visiting from Atlanta. This was an amazing place to stay as we traveled the beaches and redwoods North of Eureka. Very conveniently to excellent grocery store and restaurants. We celebrated birthdays and cooked in the well equipped kitchen. The local flowers are beautiful. But mostly, we visited on the incredible front deck, and walked around the very special neighborhood.

True Vacation Getaway

This property has absolutely amazing views. The home was so clean and cozy. We didn’t want to leave!! We enjoyed ourselves so much! I honestly don’t remember the last time we have been so relaxed. The town is so friendly and has some excellent restaurants! (The Eatery, Lighthouse Grill and the Larrupin). Moonstone wine tasting and Trinidad Healing Arts were fun stops as well. We hope to be back!!

Stunning Views - Comfortable Home

You cannot beat the views. Trinidad is a beautiful coastal town and the location of this home is close to the little downtown area and store. We could easily walk from the house to the nearby pier and beach. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The owner was easy to deal with. The perfect place if staying in Trinidad or the surrounding area. I hope to come back again sometime.

Needed to Stay Longer

This is our second trip here and between the location, sound of the ocean, birds and smell of fresh air we decided to book again for next year instead of every other year. Had the wonderful opportunity to meet the owner and he was so happy and kind. We recommended a table for the patio and when we arrived, there was a table... Thank you! Can't wait to stay again in 2024.
