"This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again."

"The hotel itself is an absolutely beautiful building - we peeked at the Great Hall which must be wonderful for a wedding or other special occasion. We really liked this hotel and would definitely return if in the area in the future. All the staff were really friendly and helpful - we only had good interractions with all we came into contact with. Our room in the courtyard building, had been upgraded. It was lovely - absolutely huge, a really comfortable large bed, nice big shower in the en suite. There was also a very impressive roll top bath at the other end of the room (that we didn't use). Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Highly recommend."

"Had an enjoyable overnight stay at the castle during one of their storms in October. Amazing old hotel in region of Tintagel Castle. Room was clean & bed comfortable. Quaint modular bathroom installed in corner of room. I say quaint as it is compact like a modern caravan bathroom. Small basin, toilet and shower cubical with curtain (hint: not ideal for larger framed people). Dinner was good in old dining room. Very nice for our overnight stay."

"This is our third stay at this lovely hotel, and once again, it has exceeded our expectations. It never fails to impress, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is fantastic, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with the added bonus of being within easy walking distance of Padstow for a relaxing evening stroll and a meal. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, making you feel well looked after throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented, with a real attention to detail. Although we didn’t dine in the restaurant on this occasion, we have eaten there on previous visits and found the food and experience to be exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Another thoroughly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended, and we’re already looking forward to returning!"
