The lake next to the hotel was low on water & high on plastics. A real shame because the hotel & the facilities are fantastic.

With potential but bad experience
State of the lake is very poor, there is rubbish in it and it makes a horrible smell around the hotel. It’s a 5 star hotel and nobody came to at least help out with my luggage to the reception or the room. I booked a tee time at the golf club and they booked the wrong order and miscalculated the budget. On top of it they’ve asked me to pay the Green fee twice and haven’t received an answer yet. Finally, I got the last worse news as I was requesting a taxi to Murcia city, a dodgy van came over quoting me 50€ (thankfully I knew it was circa 29€) and when I asked for a licence they swore at me and left. These taxis are known by the hotel and they might share a fee. I was promised that a manager would call me to resolve all these series of problems but it’s been over 4 days and I would assume no one will do anything about it so I decided to write a very honest review. I’m very disappointed that I haven’t even received an apology after all, will never return and you should really think about it also.

En el hotel disponemos de carritos a disposición de todos los clientes para el transporte de su equipaje. Pedimos disculpas por la confusión con respecto a la reserva de los palos de golf, gasto el cual tuvo que abonar con la compañía de golf directamente y en compensación se le ofreció la salida tardía de la habitación sin coste. El servicio de taxi es externo al hotel, nosotros simplemente ayudamos a nuestros clientes con la gestión de este. Los compañeros en la recepción y yo misma nos disculpamos por las molestias ocasionadas e intentamos que su estancia fuera lo mas agradable posible. Tras su marcha, fueron trasladadas todas estas informaciones al director del hotel, el cual intento contactar con usted y no obtuvo respuesta. Esperamos que puedan darnos una segunda oportunidad para poder asegurarnos de que su próxima estancia sea un 10.

Lovely hotel with nice bedrooms and great bathroom/dressing room area. There is a bit of a smell outside in areas from the lakes on the urbanisation I think but not bad enough to be upsetting. A good few eating options and bars right beside the hotel. Hotel staff were excellent-friendly and accommodating so congratulations to Hilton hotels on that.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. We stayed here a night before flying back to Scotland from Murcia. The exterior is beautiful with a lovely pool area and bar. The staff at the pool were extremely friendly and keen to help. We had two rooms at the hotel. Upon opening the fridge we couldn’t believe the amount of ants! They were in the fridge, on the floor and even on the bed. I spoke to reception and they came along sprayed the room and left. No effort was made to clean away the ants. We were not offered another room ! We were told this is typical of murica! This should be advertised when booking! We would never stay in a room with ants! Further more the bed sheets had dirty stains on them and the air conditioning rattled all night. In the morning I asked for a manager to call me before we got on our flight I heard nothing. I would never stay here again! Poor customer satisfaction.

A very disappointing hotel.
The hotel is sadly nowhere close to the 5* it claims to be. The first thing we saw as we walked into the lobby were large windows with a lot of bird mess on them, obscuring the views. Receptionists were consistently unfriendly, not even acknowledging us whenever we were passing by the reception area. The only friendly staff members were cleaners. During our entire stay we could not get soap… we were given shampoo instead for the first two nights and eventually also shower gel, but no soap bars were available! We were also made to feel by one of the receptionists like we were asking for something really unusual… No environmental friendly policies in place, towels being replaced every day until we specifically asked to leave them unchanged. Breakfast was good - large, decent selection of foods. Dinner not for vegetarians- literally not one veggie option in the whole menu. Overall a very disappointing stay.

Hotel and rooms were fine, breakfast all hot food cold, informed the staff spoke to hotel manager, no improvement not helpful and then tried to charge me for breakfast which was included in my booking, very poor customer service

La Torre Golf hotel
Hotel accommodation good but they fell down on restaurant meal choices. As vegetarians we felt the menus too limited, front of house staff excellent. Happily there was a nearby Italian restaurant that was excellent and able to adapt their dishes to suit. Overall we felt that the hotel let themselves down by not moving with the times.

The Hotel was lovely, very immaculate and clean throughout, staff greeted us to the hotel and we had A very speedy check in. However we came to our first problem which was when we booked our Suite we did so with the breakfast option. However upon check in we was told that breakfast was not included in our Package and an extra 30 euros would have to be paid for breakfast, Even though our email clearly stated free breakfast. We got to our room to find that it was just like how the pictures portrayed the room and with stunning views over the golf course it was a lovely area. We then realised that there is no Tea/coffee making facilities in the room as stated on the website. Not A big issue but when it is stated and was looking forward to an early morning cup of tea was a tad disappointing. We then get to the main issue with the hotel at this present time and that is the indoor pool. We booked this hotel on our stop over before heading to the airport for the reason of proximity to Murcia airport and an indoor pool so my 3 year old daughter could use the facility. Upon finding the pool they are currently refurbing the area something not stated when Booking on the Expedia site. There is plasterboard and debris everywhere, no changing rooms available to change into. And the place just looked like A building site. I went to reception to ask if the pool was open to find that yes it was but the hotels reception seemed to not be aware of the renovations. TBC as character limit.

The coffee/tea amenities due to covid are under request at the Front Desk, I do apologise if this was not transmitted to you during your check-in. Again accept my apologise for the missunderstood with your reservation, I will speak with our Sales Manager to check this case in case was not transfered correctly to our system. The Spa is currently under renovation until end of year, it is stated in all the reservations platforms as well on the reservations confirmation email, we provide complimentary access to our indoor pool and Fitness studio for the inconveniences, which normallly would incur an entrance fee, I am sorry if any of the member of the staff did not pass the right information to you.
