Hi David,Thank you for your feedback. Since this is a Toronto Heritage Building, this hotel is known for its old aesthetic. Seems like houses built around the 1800s looked and felt just like this. Modernizing this place would not justify our initiative to preserve it as it was originally, however, we did our bit by adding current generation's bathroom fixtures for our guests. Re the shampoo- the dispensers in the shower are filled with a “body shampoo” (hair and body). I’m sorry if this was not refilled.
