"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...

"Cabin was what was described. The TV was not working and WiFi was poor to say the least. The room was clean, but we did get quite a few mosquito bites at night—-but let’s be real, it’s a campground. Bed and sheets were clean. Staff spoke “okay English” but they were super friendly and did their best. They advertise private beach with chairs, but these are not included in the fee. "We enjoyed our stay. The camp site is good for families and the staff were friendly. The restaurant and bar were very good and good value for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The entertainment/evening show is only aimed at children and is mainly in Italienne, it was learning songs and dance moves to the songs, which our 6 year old granddaughter was able to follow. "We really enjoyed staying at Camping River Village. It was a nice change of pace from the usual hotels during our 3 week tour of Italy. Our children loved the pool and playground. The cabin was clean but cramped. But it did the trick. Be aware you have to pay extra for sheets and towels! It was a convenient location to visit Cinque Terra. "

"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."
