"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was quaint and beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was there and the owner even gave us fresh eggs and a home baked bread! It is located close to skyline drive and the Shenandoah National Park. We did some hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Would highly recommend this property!"

"The hosts have thought of everything and supplied this lovely cottage with towels, dishes, necessities and extras galore, accordingly. It is neat and clean and it shows the moment you walk in. "The cottage is facing a mountain range with spectacular sunset view and morning mist view. Cows, birds, deers, and squirrels are the only neighbors. The cottage is clean and new. The bed is comfy. We woke up early and hiked in the Shenandoah national park. Came back around 5. Enjoyed our dinner outside. Spent the rest of evening doing nothing but staring at the nature outside. It was wonderful. We will definitely come back."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. A couple things of note: Bringing black out shades is super helpful! The closet in the bedroom is big enough for a portable crib. Be sure to bring toilet paper. We only had one full and one partial roll between the two bathrooms(and they were paper thin). Because there isn’t anywhere super close, it’s nice to know to pack some ahead of time :) The road is so peaceful and we went on the trail quite a few times. It was a bit wet, so we didn’t make it all the way...

"My husband and I really enjoyed our long weekend! The first night's sunset was spectacular and we really enjoyed relaxing by the river. The cabin was spacious and the beds comfortable. Our only issue was the condition of some of the cookware and kitchen items. Otherwise, we highly recommend this property."
