Gym has amazing views of the city that can be quite different than the views from hotel room. Breakfast buffet had great selection of food items (Japanese + Western).
I love the Tokyo Park Hyatt! The staff are excellent. During our recent stay, Ms. Fox was incredibly kind and gracious (as was the person who waited on us in the NY Bar) in making sure this was a memorable experience.

The hotel was impressive. The views stunning. The staff wonderful & amazing. This hotel is the Queen of Tokyo.
My wife and I stayed at the newly renovated Park Hyatt in February 2026. The hotel amenities, room, and staff were amazing, but there was one major issue. My wife got food poisoning from the hotel breakfast the morning of our checkout. We contacted the hotel and they seemed very concerned and called us several days in a row to check on my wife’s condition. After 2 days of severe illness her health returned to normal. However, the Park Hyatt did not offer any kind of compensation for this serious problem. For $1200 a night I expected more from this hotel.

Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We loved our stay here! The staff were fantastic and very attentive. The check in experience was great and Yuko Usami was particularly helpful and welcoming. The views from our room was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again!
One of my favorite hotels in my favorite city. It's a luxury hotel with unbeatable views of Tokyo, quiet and comfortable rooms, and the best rooftop bar in the world.
Luxury stay close to Shinjuku. Amazing view. Fantastic service. Only downside is that the on-site restaurants need to be booked in advance, depending on the season.
Excellent customer service, great location, wonderful views, excellent food, hands down it was an amazing experience from the beginning of our stay until check out, would definitely stay again, exceeded all expectations. Have stayed at high end hotels when traveling and this one did not disappoint in ANYWAY. Traveled with my 2 teenage daughters and toddler.
This hotel is showing its age, but will soon shut down for a refurbishment. Despite parts already closed, such as the famous New York bar, the hotel won us over with the staff's excellent attention to detail and helpfulness. Nothing beats the views, food, and class of this place, even as the furniture is definitely starting to look 20 years old.
We stayed there for 3 nights and got an upgrade to a suite. Thank you so much! The service was fantastic. The choice at the breakfast buffet was huge and there is certainly something for everyone. Opposite the hotel is a huge park with a very large playground. Our children loved it and still talk about the big playground every day. We can highly recommend this hotel, in particular it is very child-friendly and all wishes are fulfilled. Will stay here again for sure!
Sad to find no indoor area for smokers, unless booking a smoking room which wouldn’t have made my partner happy, however she adores the baths. Staff super friendly. Not received an email confirmation of charges prior to being charged at checkout. Pool area fabulous.
Amazing 3 night experience for us - family with two girls at end of Japan trip. Great staff service, excellent breakfast and views like few other hotels in the location.
Room for 4 was great in space and amenities albeit sleeping arrangements a bit snug so two adults in a small double and our daughters in a small double and single - I.e. two small doubles and a single to share.
New York grill was superb but for a little under £600 the New York strip steak was way under quality expectations, we had three and they were all poor so nothing rogue. Kobe steak was amazing, as was the restaurant and the band.
All in all amazing, will go back when refurbished (staff say they are hoping for a start next year - 2024). I guess you want close to perfection at such an iconic hotel.
I expected a picture perfect stay. The only things that were slightly off:
1. mag-safe phone charger wasn’t working (they replaced it)
2. Breakfast was amazing but waiter never asked me if I wanted any juice.
3. The arrangement of the floors is a little wacky. The 41st floor is reception. You take an elevator to higher floors to reach the guest rooms. To get to fitness center you go to 45th floor for entrance and then a side elevator to 47th floor for actual gym/pool. Felt like solving a maze.
I love the two bar floors. Just like what I remembered from the film “List in Translation.”
