We had an amazing 6 night stay at Mustard Hotel. You absolutely cannot beat the location: close proximity to 2 different train stations, walkable to an abundance of restaurants, bars, shopping! The staff was very kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. The coffee shop had wonderful options and our meal vouchers were such a great addition to our experience. And I cannot forget to mention the quaint small bar downstairs playing fantastic music. The next time we return to Japan we will absolutely be returning to Shimo Kitazawa and Mustard Hotel!
Loved the location, the rooms and the cafe! Staff very friendly. Around the corner from an amazing vegan bakery but the cafe at the hotel made amazing lattes and matcha lattes. They had oat milk!
The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was probably the only bad thing about the hotel. Not that the shower was awful or anything. Just a touch small. The coffee was good and it's nice that it's right in the lobby
This hotel is in an excellent location and is perfect for someone wanting to immerse themselves in Shimokitizawa. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite. The on premise coffee shop and bar were incredible too.
Such a great place to stay in Tokyo. A quick walk to the subway, plenty to do and see in this chill and lovely neighbourhood.
The hotel is lovely with comfortable beds and good amenities, including a great coffee/bagel bar for breakfast.
Great lobby music, a charming bar, and vinyl to enjoy in your room. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. So glad I made this choice.
What an amazing place in the middle of Shimo-Kitazawa. We got to hang with some locals with their cute dogs on the patio, drink beers, and had a really nice “local” experience. The relaxed atmosphere was perfect from the hustle and bustle of the larger hotels. We will love to come back and will recommend this place to our family and friends.
The absolute best place to stay for a city visit. Spacious rooms with very friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee shop downstairs and fantastic location for shimokitazawa and beyond. Was very sad to leave, would stay at again!
Lovely Stay for our 3 weeks Vacation. The Café and the Bar in the Lobby were very good. The Rooms are quite small but big enough for 2 People plus 4 luggage pieces. All in all worth it. Beautiful Neigborhood too.
Loved this place! Rooms are simple and clean, lobby cafe and bar are great, neighborhood is awesome. Staff is very helpful, special shout out to Lauren for being so helpful!
Great location. Clean and comfy rooms. Lovely staff and an all round good atmosphere. It’s a perfect base in Tokyo and somewhere you’ll want to linger for a bagel in the morning and a lemon sour in the bar at night.
