Very big room for Tokyo, very nice bath and Sauna and all of the other facilities. Everything worked very well.
However, bed was way too hard for my taste and harder than other places in Tokyo.
Amazing hotel, total luxury in all of its amenities. Perfect location in regards to restaurants, bars, clubs, cafes. The staff are so polite and the level of cleaning in the room on a daily basis is superb. The rooms so quiet as it’s just off the main road whilst only remaining a couple of minutes walk from the centre.
It was very comfortable for a Tokyo hotel. They had many accommodations for us and also a gift. It was very clean and they were as helpful as can be considering two different languages would definitely return.
I will start by saying I was very hesitant staying in a love motel for my first trip to Japan but it was surprisingly pleasant.
The staff was nothin short of great and helpful even letting us keep our bags there when we checked out since our flight wasn’t until 9:30 pm that night.
The amenities were pretty sweet as it is hard finding a room this size anywhere Tokyo.
The only knocks I will give it is the shower head holder was actually broken and we had to fasten it with a hair tie to hold it in place.
The bed was also slightly uncomfortable but nothing crazy. The area around the property is very very busy which comes with goods and bads. The goods being that it is so close to everything and literally across the street from bars and clubs. But the bads being that it was a bit dirty around the outside.
The noise wasn’t an issue being in a busy area.
Overall I would stay here again as the price is good for the area and amenities and the staff genuinely seems like they want you to have a pleasant stay.
Considered this hotel for 2 overnight stays. Everything was immaculate. The amenities were beyond my expectations. The staff were friendly. I would stay here again. Very satisfied!
The room was quite spacious per Japan standards and the bathroom was exceptionally large and well equiped with a jacuzzi tub on top of the shower set up. The room also had a sauna and massage chair - very rare. The only downsides were the location in the Shinjuku district that was a bit out there - not unsafe, just more dirty and such. The room also did not have windows, which was a surprise.
Stayed for a week. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Hotel is nearby plenty of restaurants and close to Shinjuku station.
The Hotel D-wave is one of Japanese’s “Love hotel” which if you Google isn’t anything sinister, and gave us no problems over the week.
On the plus side, friendlyhotel and staff in the real hear of everything in Shinjuku y de
Staff is great, the hotel rooms are really nice. If you aren’t familiar with these types of hotels in Tokyo then I recommend looking elsewhere if you are solo or staying with family. It’s more of an hourly or day rate hotel. Very nice rooms but smells like cigarettes everywhere inside the hotel. Bali hotels offer more for food and drinks

LOVE THIS PLACE! Ok, so it's very very unconventional. Heads up, it's a love hotel. The lobby isn't really a lobby, more of a discreet checkin for those looking to temporarily rent this place for a good time, not a long time. It smells like smoke, as you can smoke there. But my goodness. Once you get past that, the room is AMAZING! I've stayed everywhere in Tokyo from AirBnBs to the beautiful and expensive Cerulean Towers, to efficiency hotels to business hotels. Hotel D-Wave has been my favorite. It's the largest hotel room I've ever had. Completely private, marbled out, and is just insane. It had my own sauna, a giant whirlpool bathtub with aroma therapy supplies and bubbles and a tub TELEVISION! a shower, a separate toilet room (rare in Japan), and the room was MASSIVE! No closets but that's not an issue at all. There was a karaoke setup, tons of free current VOD movies, a 5.1 surround sound setup and you can blare it and nobody can hear you and you can't hear anyone else! Tons of high end ammenities and toiletries they restocked every day, and a fully stocked fridge where they charged you prices almost on par with the prices for drinks at 7-11. NO GOUGING! I love this place so much. I won't stay anywhere else. Also, location location! near 3 stations!
So let's get this out of the way: I didn't know this was a 'love hotel' when I booked it! If you don't know what that is, look it up...
However, don't let that turn you off from staying here! The hotel and it's staff were excellent. The rooms are clean and well-kept, and they have plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable. It's very close to the bustling nightlife of Shinjuku/Kabukicho, making it easy to get back to after a long night out.
The only thing missing for me was a closet in the room to throw your clothes/luggage in, but that's probably only an issue if you're staying for several nights. Other than that, we really enjoyed it.
The room was spacious. The rooms were well supplied with soap, towels, and toiletries. The rooms were well cleaned every day. The negatives are the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was a futon. Also the room had no windows. The shower floor was marble and slippery.
Great hotel , very nice staff and very clean and in a good location near night life . Walking distance to golden gai. Great hotel for couples . Will recommend to friends !
