Ive been to this hotel a few times and i think the best part of staying here is the prime location in Asakusabashi, youre a few minutes walking distance to a train station and food options are fairly numerous. There isnt laundry on the property but there is a laundromat just across the road in a hostel which i believe is open for public use, failing that there are others within reasonable distance.
The age of the facility is pretty apparent but at the time of my visit, they were in the middle of both exterior and interior renovations. Another issue i ran into during my visit was weak Wifi on the floor i was on, however once again the staff were quick to offer a wifi hotspot for me to use during my stay.
The staff here are some of the friendliest ive had the pleasure of meeting in my time traveling around Tokyo, and many of them speak English.
