THIS HOUSE is located in a quiet forested location which is in a private low density community located 900 meters from South Chestermans Beach, and is very close to Rosy Bay, and Cox Bay. It's only a 9 minute drive to famous Long Beach. Tofino's town centre is 7 km from this property and there is a small(tiny) shopping centre 3 km away where you can get fast food(Wild Side Grill), surf rental and gear and a variety of other items.

The house sits on a 3/4 acre forested lot and has three bedrooms, 2.25 bathrooms and a open concept kitchen where cooking turkey diners is easy due to its size and completeness. Of course there is a dishwasher.

As required by municipal law there is a caretakers suite which is entirely separate from the main suite. The house is wood frame construction so there is some noise transfer particularly in the upstairs portion of the rental side. The caretaker(the owner operator) is a quiet and friendly person who is usually not to far to help out with any question that may arise about the area or property. The hot tub is all yours(not shared) when you stay here.

*****BE ADVISED*****
1. This is family style accommodation. If your group is planning or has the potential to do a lot of drinking and/or keep late hours while here we strongly advise not booking this property. We do not rent to groups under the age of 30.

2. Tofino municipal laws limit the number of guests in any holiday rental to 6 persons. For this reason we do not except requests for more than 6 people.

3. When accepting bookings for summer and some shoulder season dates we are looking to book our property effectively as to not leave singe days empty. Please consider this when choosing your dates however please do not hesitate to enquire regardless.

4. Long weekends are a 3 night minimum in most cases.

5. FIREWORKS are NOT permitted in the area except Halloween and New Years Eve. Fire works are not permitted on this property at any time.

Home was very nice and comfortable. Kitchen was well furnished and the beds were really comfortable. Only thing disappointing was the outside space. It wasn’t conducive to relaxing and hanging out.

Fantastic getaway!

We had a lovely few days on the coast sharing the stunning scenery with our international students. It was a perfect size for 5 and we enjoyed some home cooked meals, movies, games, walks in nature and of course the hot tub. Owner was great to deal with and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again.

Tranquil by name tranquil by nature

A great spot a short walk from S Chesterman beach. Hot shower and tub were great after the refreshing ocean surfing. Totally quiet after 10pm, the place was great for us our kids and their partners. Definitely would come back

The property and home are spectacular! Jason welcomed us on our arrival, was pleasant to deal with throughout, and went above and beyond with some local treats! The home was spacious, and the furniture/beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the needed amenities. The only drawback was that there was no dining table, just stools on the kitchen bar. The hot tub was new and immaculate. The location is amazing...a short walk to Chesterman beach and or drive to Tofino or other beaches. All in all, we had a great stay and we would highly recommend!

Beautiful house and property.

This home is awesome. So conveniently located yet quiet and peaceful. The hottub nested in under the trees is amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking meals for our family of 6. 3 very comfy beds. Jason is an amazing host. So very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing week in Tofino

We loved the property. Private and quiet area. Lots of room for all 6 of us and a short walk to S Chesterman beach. The hot tub was a treat after surf sessions. Jason resides in a house connected to the rental property so he’s right there if anything needs attention. He surprised us with some fresh fish one evening. Amazing!

Best Birthday Ever

All I wanted for a winter birthday, was a cozy place to read a book, eat some great seafood, and walk on the beach. This property was the perfect place to meet my birthday wishes. Oh and a Hot Tub! Lovely property and great location

We had a (far too short) family getaway. The property is well equipped with pretty much everything you need and is sympathetic with its surroundings with beautiful vaulted ceilings and lots of windows to view the gardens. The location is perfect for visiting the major beaches, Pacific Rim National Park and the charming towns of Tofino and Ucluelet. It was perfect for our needs and we would certainly stay there again.

Lovely home in a great location!

This house is exactly as described - it’s a lovely house with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The setting feels very private while close to beaches and not far from town. The owner was responsive with questions, and welcoming when we arrived. Great option for a homemade while exploring Tofino & Ucluelet!

Fabulous location near Tofino and Chesterman Beach in a quiet neighbourhood. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The hot tub was great feature. Jason was very welcoming and helpful but didn’t intrude on our stay.

Best vacation!

Our stay at The Tranquil property was absolutely perfect. There were 6 of us and 2 pets who stayed there for 7 days. Inside was very spacious with more than enough room for all of us. The hot tub outside nestled in the trees was a dream to come home to after a long day at the beach. I highly recommend this place for any small family or large group. This was our 6th year in tofino and this property as by far our favourite. Will be coming back for sure!

Spectacular

This was our first trip to Tofino and I’m glad we did it here. The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. It’s an easy walk to both Chesterman’s and Cox Bay. Jason was very responsive and accommodating. We going to try to make this an annual trip.
