Located in the spectacular world renowned Chesterman Beach area of Tofino, this lushly landscaped 1/2 acre property sits atop Chesterman Beach's natural sand dunes formed thousands of years ago by the pounding surf of the Pacific Ocean. The Dunes Cabin is a modern 2 bedroom home boasting a well equipped kitchen and large private deck with outdoor hot tub. Both bedrooms feature queen size beds, down duvets and 43' flat screen televisions. Your custom bathroom with large dual shower, relaxing furnished deck, stainless steel BBQ, patio and soothing 4 person hot tub, makes for a perfect getaway. Whether you're looking to enjoy a romantic escape with your partner, or getaway with some family or friends, the dunes is the place for you. The Dunes Cabin also features free wireless internet.
This location is very private and is within 2 min walking distance to Chesterman Beach. Consider it your own private boutique hotel.

An absolute wonderful stay at The Dunes Cabin! My partner and I celebrated our birthdays by walking the beach, soaking in the hot tub, and playing crib on the deck. The cabin was clean, fully stocked with all our needs, and the location was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Dunes cabin had all the amenities and was walking distance to Chesterman Beach (and biking distance into town). Hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of learning to surf. Would definitely return!

Great location, loved having a washer and dryer and hot tub. Did not appreciate that all the bedding was really damp... Chris said I should have called housekeeping right away but at 10pm when you're all tired from travelling and your kids wanna go to sleep you should be able to count on the beds being ready to use instead of having to have someone come over and change everything. Again, it was nice to have the dryer, but should not have been something we should have had to deal with. Other than that it was a good stay, the place could use a little refresh and maybe more towels provided without having to ask.

Cute, make-shift cabin. The cabin must have been repurposed, as there’s a non-working water fountain in the bathroom. A bit of a walk to downtown Tofino, but great location to the beach and trails. The property has lots of privacy and amazing lush greenery. Overall, a great quirky cottage.

The Dunes Cabin was a great place to enjoy Tofino. It was within walking distance to Hotel Zed which has a great cafe and restaurant, and biking distance into town. The 5 minute walk to Chesterman's Beach was amazing. Hot tub also perfect! I was a little surprised that the area was a bit noisy with construction and traffic, but that seemed to lessen on Friday and Saturday. I would definitely recommend this spot for an active stay where you aren't spending too much time inside. I would stay here again with the kids, it seemed like a really safe area and very convenient.

Very convenient place in the trees. Few minor issues/smells as noted in their guest book and was not the most well maintained. Seating options are quite limited inside and out. There is a spot with a tiny pond within the property that could be a nice spot, but its quite unpleasant to look at currently. Overall it was a nice stay for a few nights

We stayed for 4 nights. Check process was smooth. We arrived by plane and the airport is conveniently located about 10 minutes away. Grocery store is about 15 minutes and some restaurants and shops are about five minutes away. The house is very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen is equipped as we cooked many occasions. Expansive beach is about 5 minutes walk. Hot tub is very good for relaxing in the evening. Overall, excellent day..

This was such a great retreat, quiet, cozy and in a perfect location close to shops and the beach but away from crowds. My only suggestion is better pillows, but everything else was thought of.

Perfect spot. We were in Tofino for our friends wedding at the Wickannanish.Walking distance to the resort, Chesterman beach, the Zed Hotel (for happy hour) and coffee in the morning at the Tofitian made for a great extended weekend here.
