Stayed here 1 night in April 2024. Area around the hotel is sketchy at best, with other patrons hanging outside. Inside very basic. No hangers or place to hang clothes. No tissues, just a room. We were glad it was only for 1 night.

If you need storage for your luggage this place is great. If you need to get a good nights rest this is not the place for you. 1st the good then will shift to the terrible. The room was clean; the bathroom was great; remodeled and very nice. The check-in was easy and straight forward, and the staff were nice. No issues there. However, the bed sucked! Who in their right might would put a bed mattress under a aluminum box frame that makes a loud noise every time you move around the bed completely ridiculous. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable. Terrible evening and barely got any sleep. I firmly believe I would have gotten more rest laying on the floor then attempting to sleep on this bed. Next, why in the world would they have motion sensor lights so sensitive that would activate the light for every car that passed by the building...then the light was set for maybe 30 seconds to every minute to turn off. so from dawn till daylight this motion light literally turned on/off about 75 times; very likely more but I stopped counting. I will never ever stay in this property again. This was a waste of money and you will wake up more tired than when you went to sleep. Again a great storage unit for luggage but hell if you want to actually sleep at night. Good luck with that.

Don’t let the outside fool you! It may appear to be a typical run of the mill motel but the rooms have been revamped with high end vinyl plank flooring and nice bedding, decor and bedding. Our king room had a microwave and mini fridge and decent flat screen tv. The staff member we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The only cons were that it was lacking was a hair dryer and there is a train nearby - but I only heard it once.

Everything in the room was clean. Great to have a refrigerator. Nice bathroom. Enough towels. Felt safe. Friendly check in. Convenient to bakery just down the street and to Merritt Island. A bit noisy for me. And could use another blanket.

Nice stay. My only complaint, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it, is the street noise from traffic, first responder and law enforcement sirens and the nearby train.

They said the rooms would be cleaned daily the cleaning staff did not work all weekend! We had ants all over the bathroom sink . and walls and floors. Do yourself a favor DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE!

The check in process was fast and friendly. The property itself is undergoing renovation and trying to upgrade their appearance. The rooms are decent for a short stay with a mini fridge and microwave for the smaller units. If you are looking for a one or two night stay for a single, couple, or small family this property is worth considering given the location and price point.

Good and comfortable but I had concerns.
Not the typical place I stay, I usually stay at higher end hotels. When I got there I was wondering if I made a mistake, because it looked like a rundown older hotel. But I did not have a choice to go somewhere else. Now with that said, I was extremely pleased with the staff, they were very friendly and understood my concerns. They explained the situation that some of the older rooms were occupied by people that were going through some hard times and were not able to find other accommodations. We were given a room key and we went the room. I was also informed that they were in the process of updating the rooms. As far as the room it was just remodeled and was fairly comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, I normally find it very difficult to sleep, but I got a good night's sleep. I understand that there is not much of a choice when staying in this area, so I made the best of it and had a pleasant stay. I did however think the price was a little high for this type of accommodation. But if I need to, I will stay here again.

It clearly says when you book it online about the check in time ( 3 to 10 pm). Apparently you did not read it. It also says that if in case you need to check in late , please contact the property and they will arrange to check you in. You never called the motel about you being late.And above all motel called you and you never answered. So NO motel was not terrible, you just did not read the instruction and did not communicated with motel.

staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Only thing was no coffee maker in room(I'm being picky here). This is a hidden gem . I wish all my stays were this easy . Just be warned hours are 8am to 10pm. But that helps keep things quiet I'll bet.

I made a reservation for the first time at the hotel. I paid for a queen size bed or double bed and got an okay service. After insisting for at least a king bed, she refused to give me the bed so my girlfriend and I ended up with an smelly room.

HOw do you reserve a queen bed when the property do not have a queen bed AND IT IS NOT LISTED ANYWHERE THAT MOTEL HAVE A QUEEN BED. All the king size were reserved. So you got the the right size of the bed. AND the room you got was not and is not smelly. So _________ up.

Great hotel with friendly helpful staff. I stayed here for a double rocket launch and couldn’t be happier with location, about a 1/2 mile to Veterans Park. Great view. Could walk or drive. Rooms very clean and new. Will return!

Perfect for my bioluminescence tour.
Stayed here for a 1am bioluminescence tour on Merritt Island and was the perfect choice - less than a 30-minute drive to my launch, which made ending at 2.30am not so painful! Owner was super nice when I checked in, directed me to the best place to park for my room. It was very much a budget motel, which they are clearly upfront about, but I was comfortable, had good internet and a warm, clean shower. The owner did let me know they are closing for a bit for remodeling which will be great for them and you. Would definitely stay here again to enjoy Merritt Island.

We stayed there 2 years ago and had good things to report. This time it was not as positive. The room was very clean and modernized. We were given a Handicap room. I didnt ask for one but no big deal. As a handicap room you would expect to have a taller toilet and at least a hand rail but not this room. The beds were on wheels and you had to be very careful about sitting down on them and not have them slide away from you. My husband atempted to sit on the end of the bed and it tipped. There were no chairs in The room so the only choice was the bed. The window treatments were a very nice wooden blind. Very clean. The problem with this was that the light outside the room shown through the blind at night and was positioned so that it shown like a sunbeam onto the head of the bed all night long. The room never got dark and the exterior light could not be turned off. The air conditioner was older but up to the task of keeping the room at a good temperture. There is still no ice machine but you can get ice from the front desk not alot but enough for a couple of drinks.
