"Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"The The beach on property is nice. Great views from restaurant. Strong AC, free wifi are plusses. No phone in room, no TV, nobody at reception after a certain time at night. Door to patio was broken. Rooms are dated. "

"This tastefully decorated oasis surpassed our expectations! From the initial garden walk into the property, we were in awe. We can't say enough about the lovely proprietor and all her staff. "Bungalows were great There is some internet is available although it’s slow at times. There are no tvs which is brilliant. You just sit back and enjoy the views Free use of kayaks and you’re right next to the area of the lagoon where the best snorkelling for the moorea island is. It’s one of 3 locations where you sit in the balcony and watch the sun go down The breakfast staff are brilliant and the local restaurants give plenty of options and are just 300 -400 m down the road it’s sister...

"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...
