Top Tiahura Beach Hotel Reviews
Hotel Hibiscus
8/10 Good
"The water in the shower never did get hot. The gal at the front desk said to let it run 15 minutes it it never got hot. Fortunately the weather was warm so a warm shower was fine. The resort is very pretty with amazing sunset views however there weren’t any lounge chairs for the beach. Everyone lined up and stood on the beach to watch the sunset. I had a great mojito made with fresh lime and fresh mint. Really tasty but $28!!! Ask before you request"
GAIA BEACH AND LAGOON - At Tiahura place
10/10 Excellent
"Best holiday we've ever had. Great location on the edge of the best spot. We constantly see baby sharks and rays swim across the front beach while having the morning coffee. Couldn't ask for better"
Moorea Beach Villas
10/10 Excellent
"We travel extensively but rarely leave reviews. This property is one that requires a comment. It is simply awesome. They were quite helpful with working around our schedule. The villas themselves are fabulous. We either made dinner at home with the well stocked kitchen or drove to eat out (walking to the nearby resort is an option), this would be the only downside if you didn't have a car."
Maison SUR Belle Plage Plage Blanche Bungalow
8/10 Good
"Great location, although the beach is busy and boats are parked right in front. Just beautiful sunsets, nice walking on the pier. We enjoyed visits by the local chickens. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of places to sit and lounge. The place was clean, but it's pretty old and not well maintained. The gas stove was so old that nothing was printed by the knobs and you had to listen for the gas to figure out which burner it was. No way was I going to try the oven! The sink looked to be about 50 years old. The knob in the shower wouldn't turn off and hot water poured out until someone came to repair it. The listing leads you to believe there is an AC for every bedroom - NOT! The loft bedroom could not be used at all. Also, the place is only accessed up by a huge, very noisy, garage door size shutter thing; the second door is off it's tracks and can't be used. All the tables are outside of this "door", so if it has to be closed due to it being night or stormy, you've no place to eat and there are no windows or other ventilation. The hosts were responsive, but VRBO didn't send the check-in instructions until after we'd arrived and the buildings are not numbered, so we had a hard time finding it and the host had to come rescue us. Some basic maintenance, honesty about the AC, and a couple of new appliances would make this a 5-star listing."
Villa Anahere by Tahiti Homes
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property and a great location in Moorea. The house is gorgeous and every bedroom is exquisite. We loved having beach access and using the kayaks. Seeing the sunsets there was a plus! The kitchen is well stocked, and the location is convenient to good restaurants. Check-in was smooth. Highly recommend for a group stay."
FARE ONE ISLAND, Moorea, French Polynesia
10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed on Motu Fare One before. By far this is the best place on Moorea, I know because this is the 10th visit to Moorea over a 25 yr span, in which we have stayed at Hilton and other VRBO’s. The coral in the lagoon is some of the healthiest around Moorea. There is even a research center right next door conducting studies of coral and aquatic life. You can also have a guaranteed whale sighting from the property, with early am and just before sunset. It is also nice to sit at sunset and watch the Frigate birds all come back inland along with beautiful sunsets. Nicolas’ place is gorgeous and comfortable. As an added bonus you have Romain there on the property if you need anything at all. Even though he is there you do not see him unless you need him. He will also do all your meals if you wish and he is an EXCELLENT CHEF!!!! By far THE BEST PLACE TO STAY ON MOOREA!!!!!"
Fare Club - Moorea
10/10 Excellent
"Nice spacious hut with fans to keep you cool. Good to have a mosquito net too.The whole place is very clean and the owner is really friendly and helpful. There is a kayak and snorkel gear to borrow. Breakfast is not expensive and is really tasty. Very close to several restaurants and a small supermarket. A kitchen is also available to use. A great choice on the island. "
