"My husband and I stayed for 10 days with another couple. The layout of the house was perfect for our group The kitchen had all the basics and a nice gas stove. The location was quiet and the back yard led out to the water. The house had kayaks available and there was a nice market 50 meters away. "Great new property with everything you need in the apt style rooms. The front desk are welcoming and helpful. They have arrangements with a couple of local restaurants to pick you up for dinner if you want to use that service. They offer kayaks and bikes for free use. Would be a great place for a longer stay. Kitchen has “garage door” that opens up to make kitchen and patio one space. Super cute."

"Great location with eclectic charm. Wonderful to be right on the lagoon and watch the fish and sharks cruise by! Lots of comfortable seating areas to curl up with a book. They have a book filled with local eating spots and menus which was appreciated. Kayaks are available, although seems crazy to have an additional charge on top of room price. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There were some soft areas in the floor which is concerning since it was on the second floor."

"Was certainly a place that we would consider staying again and arnaud was excellent, but you must be aware that you are on the exact opposite side of the island of most of the commerce and activity. Not a big big deal as it’s only 25 to 30 minutes, but you will not find a restaurant or anything like that just down the street. there is a small family type store just across the street however for drinks and what not. Also, although the view is excellent the water immediately behind the property is not nearly as breathtaking as the water on the northern side of the island and around to the west side. It’s dark and I can’t tell you exactly why but it’s not really inviting like the water on the other side. It is a more beautiful blue maybe 200 m out and beyond but it’s just different. If you’re not gonna swim, it’s not a big deal. The area behind the rooms is a little Shangri-La as you can lay amongst the palm trees and weed or go to sleep or anything like that and it’s all private so that is a very, very nice feature. The pool was inviting, although I did not use it, and there was a Jacuzzi as well.. arnaud prepared some scrambled egg for us and they were awesome. I would not hesitate to stay there again, although if I wanted to be closer to the commerce and businesses, I would probably stay on the northern side of the island.."

"We had a wonderful stay at this Moorea place (Lagoon Dream). The property offers incredible value and a convenient location that made exploring the island effortless. We especially loved the pool, which is located just across the street right next to the ocean—a fantastic spot to relax with a beautiful view.Communication with the owner was great and timely from start to finish. The onsite support personnel was also fantastic and always ready to answer all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moorea!"

"Jean and his family were very hospitable. The food was DELISH. We snorkeled and swam from the private beach. We enjoyed a private cabin with its own bathroom. I would return there for the price and culture. Most of the experience is quaint and family friendly. I enjoyed the porch the best. If you want room service and amenities it is more like staying with family. This was a great stay on a budget and we felt treated with value. Jean was knowledgeable to share snorkeling sites, hikes, dive areas, and more local info. The drinks were good, the food authentic. It wasn't over populated either like the large hotels."

The villas themselves are fabulous. We either made dinner at home with the well stocked kitchen or drove to eat out (walking to the nearby resort is an option), this would be the only downside if you didn't have a car."
