The hotel is near the airport. Its also close to shopping area. You can see mount Mckay, one of Thunder Bay's beautiful scenic views.

Arrived at the hotel only to be told they don’t know why my reservation went through as they were overbooked . Still got a room , however the room wasn’t that clean . The shower curtain smelt musty which made the bathroom smell and the boxspring/bed was on the floor . We asked about shuttle service and were told they go in demand , 5:45am there was 4 of us as the van pulled up. The driver who had a security jacket on was cranky and told us that the next shuttle leaves at 6am unless there was 6 of us. So we waited until 6. When we arrived at the airport we sat outside on the benches and watched the van pull up 10 mins later with 3 passengers . This was a work trip and this would not be my first choice 🙂

Loved this hotel, newly renovated rooms was a comfortable bed to sleep in will definately stay here again. Walmart and other shops just across the street
