"We stayed here for a few days over the BC Day long weekend. It was crazy expensive because of that, but that was my only really complaint. Also because of this being a factor, it was super, super busy. Overall was a good stay and I’d stay again, just maybe not during a busy long weekend next time. "The Plaza Hotel is a unique opportunity to stay at a heritage hotel for a reasonable rate. I enjoyed the architectural and historical details throughout the hotel. Being downtown, parking was slightly inconvenient but hotel staff were very helpful in locating an alternative within easy walking distance. "

"The staff were wonderful, the room was clean, and breakfast was really good for a ‘light breakfast’. The hotel is a little on the worn side, as it’s old, but the general experience makes it a very good hotel to stay in."

"Beautiful place on the river. Scenic views all around. The property itself was very nice. Everything was clean, but there were a few cobwebs that had caught and lots of gnats several corners of the room. The place had been recently renovated but the tub faucet was really loose. However, the staff was wonderful, friendly, hard working and helpful while we were there for our stay. We would gladly stay here again. "
