"The location is fabulous; unfortunately, just outside all the rooms at night are bright floodlights, and the owners have not seen fit to provide any curtains or even blackout blinds, so the entire room(s) were lit up all night. It was hard to sleep. Bring an eye mask if you plan to actually sleep."

"This property was perfectly located to the beach, exceptionally clean and well maintained. We went in October so it was a slower season. We loved it… you could open the door and hear the crash of the waves. Beach access was simple and just across the street. Town is walkable for the most part. During busy season, you probably just want walk most of the time. Everyone was very friendly and will be back. "

"This was one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in! The outdoor space was incredible - completely private and perfect for relaxing or playing. We loved the shaded seating area, table tennis, heated pool, hot tub, and the bikes and grill were such a great bonus. Our kids had the best time swimming and playing with their cousins while the adults enjoyed the beautiful beach views. Inside, the house was spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They even provided games to play. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Our family just returned from a great week at Surf City. The townhouse is closer to the beach than we anticipated and was very clean. The community was wonderful and everything was within walking distance. Both decks had a direct view of the ocean between the houses and it sits on s shore drive which is a less traveled road. "
