"This was the WORST Hyatt Place that I have stayed! The first room had black mold in the shower. When I pulled the covers on the bed back to spray with Lysol, there were 2 long hairs in the bed! The second room had a non working refrigerator. The young lady that works at night (Caucasian with glasses) was NOT pleasant at all. It was like you were bothering her when you asked a question. The only good thing I can say is that the breakfast was good. "

"The hotel definitely met all needs I had for a hotel for a conference being hosted by Sam Houston State University at the Woodlands Center. The room was clean, relatively quiet to be so near so many travel areas, and I felt safe. Breakfast was always ready when scheduled and definitely made the rush to conference work easier. Staff was friendly and adapted when my flights were late due to TSA issues, allowing me to check in at 5:30 in the morning after arriving 6 hours later than expected. It was a great stay and made me feel much better after many travel issues. I will most assuredly consider this place for future stays if I am in this area. "

"We stayed at this Springhill location on 2 non consecutive dates, on either side of our march 2026 spring break cruise. On our 1st stay Cedric the gentleman at the front desk over night went above and beyond to help us set up a last minute shuttle to the cruiseport, after a very late night arrival (during the government shut down tsa delay time period). The property was very nice and close to several walkable fastfood locations, gas stations, and a rental car place. Great value for the money spent. In our return visit they went out of their way to help us get checked in early since we had got back from the cruise port a couple hours ahead of schedule, and had a very early flight the next morning. We caught the 1st shuttle in the morning (4am), if using the shuttle get downstairs a half hour early, as it is a shared shuttle with the sister marriot location, and doesnt allow for pre-booking the shuttle, instead they call every 30 minutes about 10-15 minutes before scheduled time to see if service is needed. The only slight negative would be breakfast (we only got it the 1st stay due to timing of our flight) it was not bad by any means just not as good as i would hope from a marriot which is one of the 3 brands i trust to stay at. Powdered eggs frozen sausage type thing. All in all it was an excellent stay both times."

"Really just angry that they deceive you by advertising a price on hotel websites bu them at the end of the stay you find out the price is higher because they charge you for parking. This is unheard of in aTexas where land spreads far and wide and space is abundant. This is just a regular old parking lot of the hotels like other lot in Houston Texas area , yet they won the bid on the hotel selection websites by presenting a lower price to only later find out the price was actually higher due to parking in there regular flat lot. Clearly it’s just a deceptive way to have more people select them on the hotel shopping sites and then they just charge you more for parking. DECEIPTFUL. Pitiful. I am sure they will say that somewhere deep in the details of their advertisement on the hotel shopping site I used to find them that they state parking is extra. But that is the problem…it is buried, it is not upfront and they know people won’t notice that you have to pay for parking. What is more…. The parking lot was literally 2/3 empty. "
