"Pleasantly surprised considering what I paid for studio apartment. Well equipped, spotless, spacious had everyrhing we needed. Didn't use restaurant but was available, games room with pool, table tennis and other things to amuse kids plus small amusement arcade. Bar nice for quiet drink which closed at ten. Staff very friendly and helpful and surrounding beautiful with lake. Supermarkets 5 mins away by car, station museum worth a wee visit in carnforth. Will visit again"

"This is a particularly good holiday apartment - excellent in the true meaning of the word. It almost feels like you go through a secret door up to somewhere heavenly.... certainly a spacious place where love and thought have been invested as well as money. The advance information from the owners was also particularly helpful.The location is excellent - just up from the Promenade via a pedestrian route but on a quiet road. The double flight straight up results in superb views over the Kent estuary in all weathers and the apartment is arranged to make the most of them with chairs and footstools in the sitting room and main bedroom. We enjoyed having the outdoor area to use. The welcome provisions were more ample than average. You can be as busy - plenty to do in the area - or as relaxed as you like here and it works for those travelling by rail as well as car."

"Katrina’s cottage was absolutely wonderful. It’s a short hop from many villages within the national park and also had many places close by to get groceries, fuel etc. There are lots of sites and attractions to visit close by to the cottage as well. The cottage itself is beautiful, and Katrina included a cute gift basket for us. The cottage was very clean and had all the necessities you would need for your stay. Katrina also provided a lovely guide with all the key things you need to know about the cottage and the local area. We had a lovely short stay and would definitely come back again! "
