And our twin room was very comfortable - very comfy beds and excellent shower en-suite. Very nice touches in lots of ways. "This was our second stay at The Tavern and we will most definitely return. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities available. This time we stayed in the room with the amazing bath. Sadly we didn’t have chance to use it as only stayed for one night. The breakfast is wonderful and certainly set us up for the day. "From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north."

"Our first time in a pod but we loved it. We stayed with our two young children, who were sad to leave! The pod was clean, cosy, had everything you need and on a quiet but secure site. We booked very last minute but had an easy check in with great communication from hoasts. Would come again x"
