"I stayed in one of the Superior Rooms. Presented well, clean, maintained well. Housekeeping staff and Reception staff as well as Room Service were quick to act on requests. Had also booked a separate room for family visiting South Africa on a different floor. Happy with service and will definitely be back. Tulu and Thuli (Chef) in the restaurant, Moeketse in the bar area, you guys were wonderful. One Maintenance gentlemen, I have to mention - changed the safe batteries for me, he was very kind and so respectful throughout our stay. Overall - Impressed. ❤️ "

"Hotel very modern, centrally located, close to many great bars and restaurants. Reception was well manned and happy friendly staff welcomed me on my arrival. Lift to my fifth floor room was securitly controlled by room key. Lovely well decorated room with great shower and views of surounding Christmas decorated streets. A tasty buffet breakfast was taken every day of my stay and the bar provided me with delicious drinks after a busy day. I would like to thank the management and staff for running a great ship. I will definately be coming back."

"Melrose Place Boutique is a jewel in the heart of Johannesburg. A small hotel (35 rooms) in a pretty residential neighborhood. Surrounded by lush vegetation and a small but beautiful swimming pool, it is both cozy and relaxing to sit on your patio and enjoy the view and quiet. Breakfast was delicious, with a continental buffet and eggs made to order - it is perfect. The hotel arranges for a shuttle to and from the airport. All the staff are helpful friendly. I will definitely stay there on my next trip. "
