"Property was great, staff were friendly. I'd done online check-in so it was easy. My room was spacious, clean with a very modern bathroom and i love the fact theres a kettle in room. Bar in hotel was well stocked again friendly service and a great space to hang out as we worked out our plans for evening (i had colleague's staying in hotel). I didn't partake in breakfast but my colleagues did and they were very happy. Location is close to city centre lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. Hotel has its own parking. All in all couldnt fault my stay."

"Needed a last-minute place to stay the night whilst I was at a weekend event in York. Had a pleasant experience parking and getting in, the shared toilets and shower were clean. The only issue was that one of the bunk beds had built-in lights and outlets that didn't work. I checked and they were plugged in and switched on at the wall, but there was no light, and the outlets wouldn't charge my phone. Would've been nice if there was a direct bus route between the hostel and the city centre as well, but that's York's problem."
