Nice enough place with good clean rooms and a pleasant staff. Nature obscured our view of the river. Nicely situated within easy walking distance of central York. Breakfast was very disappointing as it consisted of plain croissants and machine coffee.

The room was a great size and had all of the things you expected. Happy to stay there again. Small note, if you pay for parking it fills up very fast so just know paying for a space is no guarantee of getting a space

Great hotel in a good location right on the river only a short walk into town. Hotel has basic amenities but does sell some items in the foyer and the pastries in the morning fill a gap until you can head out for some food. Tea and coffee making facilities in your room which is quite roomy and has everything you need.

The room was more than adequate and having the kitchenette really made this place special. The location was superb and the laundry rooms were very helpful. The staff was friendly and quick to help you out. I would stay again if I ever find myself in this area.

Great hotel, and next to the river. We stayed in the loft suit with two teenagers. Lovely large 2 storey room, with balconys and good views. Really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return again. Only negative is the limited choice of breakfast, the coffee machine was broken most of the time, but you could get a drink from reception and we are not a fan of just croissants.

Room was clean and tidy, we were upgraded which was lovely. We had a river view but because of the trees, the view wasn’t as good as we hoped. However, we weren’t there to look at the view for long! Kitchen area had everything if needed, aircon was great for the heat and bathroom was good. Only downside, wardrobe was tiny and no drawers to unpack much! Hotel is ideally situated for walking into York. Just a short walk and you are in the main area. Coffee/tea in the reception all day long was a lovely touch as were the croissants in the morning! This was the best hotel car park we had ever used. We chose to go underneath the hotel so car was kept nice and cool. Spaces were big so great if you had a larger car and lift took you directly up to reception or your room. Would we stay here again? Most definitely, we only had 3 nights so a quick visit to York. When we return we will book to stay here again.
