"This hotel has always been beautiful with great service. I always stay here quite frequently.At least once a year. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in this time, which I believe was 804 can't recall. We had an issue in the bathroom with small roaches. Not common for the property, but should be noted for them. Understand the hotel is over or close to a hundred years old, and this will happen. Never notified the staff I took care of it myself. But hopefully they read this and address it. But I highly recommend this hotel as it is a top notch.Beautiful historical hotel resort. Great restaurants, whether you're at an italian at the poom side, or on the golf course. My only complaint is. I don't feel the hotel guest should be paying a $45.00 dollar a day for valet parking. I am okay with $45.00 for my stay. Plus tips. I mean, I understand charging even that per week.If you're staying for a long period. So if you're not the filthy rich, you may want to not use the valet. But again excellent hotel absolutely gorgeous. If you're staying in coral gables, this should be your number one choice. The best spa, great golf course, the best swimming pool probably in all of south florida. Gorgeous lobby. Incredible amount of history. I do not know if they offer a tour of the hotel explaining the history. An ice cream shop down on the bottom is great. A bit overpriced and don't buy the water there. They're gonna nail you seven dollars a bottle. Great staff. Great brunch."

"The rooftop was great and the staff was amazing , Aaron wasn’t helpful , I paid out the night prior to avoid charges on my credit card and I was charged for stuff in the minibar that I never consumed. I asked to be reimbursed cause it was an error but he said he has to review it and he had no estimate of when it’ll be corrected. I tipped well & spent a good amount out and about. The hotel is beautiful too but I also also requested my sheets be changed & new towels but I had to request it about 5 times in the same day. The bed was never changed the day prior or the next day even though I asked over 5 times but I did receive the towels at about 9pm which made me miss my reservation at chop but chop did save us by accommodating my son & I but it’s such a bummer that given everything I would still be charged to my credit card when we never consumed anything and stressed to pay debit to make sure my credit card wouldn’t be charged. Super bummed out."
