"when the lamp wasn’t functioning properly in our room, a staff member prompt took it away. I promised to get us another one after he tried bulbs and they weren’t working. He was very kind and very helpful and everyone at the hotel was friendly. It was beautiful and clean and had more than enough room for three of us. The air conditioning worked well. The manager was very friendly and we will definitely be back."

"I travel often for work and have stayed at many hotels, but even though this trip was for leisure it easily ranks as one of my best experiences. The front desk team was stellar and the housekeeping staff were not only lovely but incredibly helpful. Outstanding customer service all around. The room was spotless, the Nespresso coffee machine was a fantastic touch, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The casino was a blast with delicious food and once again top-notch service. We also learned a spa will be opening soon which is even more reason to return. This place may just become our new annual casino and spa getaway."

"The Billy Barker hotel was an amazing place! The food was great; the location was convenient. The ambiance of the Gold Rush era was all around. We had a medical issue at home and had to cancel our second night abrubtly, and the desk person said that she would see what she could do (I booked through Expedia). My receipt showed the one night only. Very much appreciated!"
